Brussels, 3–4 September 1944 A villa in the Norman cottage style was built at the entrance to the Colonial Garden according to plans by architect Haneau. Now used as a caretaker’s office, it was once the home of the park’s head gardener. the old perspective on the Gare Maritime of Tour & Taxis in the early 1980's. Today, of course, this area has become a park, and will become a major residential area with many towers being built. The Jubelfeest Bridge (French: Pont du Jubilé) is an iron girder bridge in the Brussels-Capital Region on the Thurn and Taxis estate. The Art Nouveau structure, which connects Jubelfeestlaan with Emile Bockstaellaan, was designed in 1904 by engineer Frédéric Bruneel. It opened to traffic the following year. The bridge consists of three consecutive spans, the central one of which is 40.66 m long.The Jubilee bridge in the Maritime district was officially reopened on Wednesday after nearly two years of restoration work. With this reopening, a historic link in the heart of the capital is once again accessible, according to State Secretary @anspersoons Ans Persoons (Vooruit), responsible for Heritage and Urban Renewal.
